Consulate of Seychelles in Bulgaria celebrated 30th Anniversary from Independence

On the 30th of June the Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria gave an official reception for diplomats, officials and businessmen to mark its 30th Anniversary of the Independence from British rule. The Honorary Consul, Mr. Maxim Behar, presented his exhibition that included photos from different exotic scenary from his recent visit to the Seychelles. The mood of the exhibition was summarised in an explicit heading: "Seychelles: Unique by Thousand Styles" narrating of a state whose unqiueness reigns over thousands of miles across the ocean. Seychelles is an Independent Democracy with its own constitution. The islands, located in the Indian Ocean, gained independence from Britain in 1976, Seychelles Honorary Consul to Bulgaria Maxim Behar told his guests The pinpoint of the night was also Coco de Mer, the seed of a plant that grows only on the Seychelles and throughout history has been symbol of fertility, prestige and uniqueness. The guests enjoyed Seychellio music, videos and received a small versions of coco de mer as a present.
