Bulgarian government delegation visits the Seychelles

The Seychelles honorary consul in Bulgaria Maxim Behar organised an official state delegation visit to the island country. The delegation included Bulgaria's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Feim Chaoushev, the Director of Middle East and Africa Petko Dokov and the state expert Vessela Dikova. The Seychelles Vice-president Josseph Belmont welcomed guests at the State House in Victoria. The delegation also met with Sylvette Pool, Minister of the Arts, Culture and Sports, Jacquelin Dugasse, Minister of Investment, Industries and Technologies, Ambassador Philippe Le Gall, Acting Principal Secretary, Selby Pillay, Director of International Relations and Marie-Angele Antat, Second Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. On the second day of the visit the programme continued with a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly Francis Macgregor and a tour of the main island Mahe. Minister Chaoushev's delegation discussed ways to improve cooperation between Bulgaria and the Seychelles and to promote the image of the two countries as desirable tourism destination. At the end of their visit members of the Bulgarian delegation received an invitation to meet the founding President of the Republic of Seychelles Sir James Mancham.
