With authentic tea, spices and good mood from the Seychelles, the consulate support the Christmas Charity Bazaar

For 9th year the Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles contributed to raise funds during the traditional charity bazaar. On December 1, 2013 the admirers of one of the most exotic countries were able to enjoy the traditional Seychellois vanilla tea, typical native spices, as well as different items from the personal collection of the Honorary Consul Maxim Behar. Serious interest raised the unique coconut of the genus Coco de Mer, found only in one of the 115 Seychelles Islands. The 19th Charity Bazaar organized by the International Women's Club Sofia which took place for a consecutive year made tremendous progress. The organizers defined it as one of the most successful events from the beginning of its holding. There are representatives from 40 different counties and the total amounts of the stalls were more than 60. The visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with specialties prepared from different countries, arts and crafts, gifts, toys and lottery. The organizers had prepared a various entertainment programs as presented traditional dances and customs of the countries which were involved. With the funds collected from the charity bazaar provided by all the participants will support different causes and projects - the refugees on different programs in education, social inclusion and help for disabled persons and children from orphanages and homes for people with mental and physical disabilities.
