Twice as many tourists visit Seychelles compared to the number of their own citizens

The Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria and 7°South, the leading tour agency in Seychelles presented the tourism possibilities that the exotic island offers. A great number of Bulgarian tour agencies, journalists and diplomats, including the Venezuela's Ambassador to Bulgaria, Her Excellency Orietta Caponi, the Consulate General of Sweden Mr Göran Svensson, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of the United States of America Mr Bruce Berton and some representatives of the Embassy of Argentina attended the event. They learned more about the advantages and conditions in the exotic island.
‘Seychelles are an unique, phenomenal and beautiful country – not damaged by construction or business projects’, said Maxim Behar, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles. He thanked Anna Buttler Payette, managing director of 7 South, for her efforts to popularize the tourism in Seychelles and expressed his hope that they would keep on working together.
‘It is a great honour for me to present to your lovely country the tourism possibilities in Seychelles – a beautiful and exotic country, with unique nature. I can proudly say that the number of Bulgarian tourists in the Seychelles has increased as a result of our partnership with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles Maxim Behar and the Consulate in general.’, said Anna Buttler Payette.
The Consulate of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria and 7°South had special surprises for the attendees. Guests had the chance to see the unique coco-de-mer, only found in Seychelles. Moreover, one of the attendees was given a 3-day excursion to the Seychelles.
